ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — A death investigation is underway after a woman was found off a roadway in Montgomery County on Wednesday night, according to Maryland State Police.

Just before 10:20 p.m., Maryland State Troopers said they responded to the outer loop of Interstate 495 to the American Legion Bridge for a welfare check. Troopers arrived and found an abandoned silver Toyota 4Runner on the right shoulder.
A woman was then found lying below the interstate along MacArthur Boulevard. She was identified as 36-year-old Madina Rhine and pronounced dead at the scene.
