We don’t cover a lot of breaking news here on The Burn, but everyone once in a while something makes us say “wow.”
That was our reaction to images of this car accident in Ashburn this morning – Thursday, August 28. Fortunately, we are told injuries were minor.
Per the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, deputies got the call at 10:43 a.m.
Three vehicles had somehow collided at the intersection of Truro Parish Drive and Waxpool Road and one of the vehicles ended up nearly upside down on top of another vehicle.
Paramedics took two adults and one child to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone who drives on Truro Parish regularly knows this is a troubling intersection. Four lanes of traffic plus turn lanes on the main road with no traffic lights…
