WASHINGTON (7News) — A very contagious disease common in young children has been spreading across Maryland, officials said.
Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is common in children under 5 years old and usually causes fever, mouth sores and a skin rash, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
