Driver charged in deadly pedestrian crash in Springfield: police

SPRINGFIELD, Va. (DC News Now) — Police said a driver in a crash that left a pedestrian dead in Springfield is being charged.

The Fairfax County Police Department said on Tuesday that Brandon Bui, 24, was charged with failure to stop for pedestrians on a crosswalk.

The incident happened on Aug. 15 when Bui was driving on Hunter Village Drive, where he allegedly hit 76-year-old Jay Kim.
