Inova Health Systems released new data showing that about one in two adults in Northern Virginia is personally impacted by substance use or knows someone who is affected by addiction issues, with even higher numbers among millennials.
They released the data findings as part of its “Act on Addiction Campaign,” which “aims to spark meaningful dialogue around the realities of substance use, promote harm reduction and prevention strategies, reduce stigma, and highlight the profound impact addiction has on families and communities.”
