Threats against Broad Run and Woodgrove high schools Thursday that canceled early morning activities and resulted in a large law enforcement presence on both campuses were deemed to be non-credible, according to a statement from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
The threats were made on social media, LCSO Director of Media Relations and Communications Tom Julia told Loudoun Now.
“LCSO has found no evidence that gives credibility to the threats, and the schools have been cleared and opened. Our investigation remains active and out of an abundance of caution there is an additional law enforcement presence around both schools. We appreciate the assistance of the ATF, Fairfax County Police, and Virginia State Police, as well as our partners at LCPS, in responding to these threats,” he stated…
