Maryland gas prices up 2.2 cents over past week

Average gasoline prices in Maryland have risen 11.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.16 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,167 stations in Maryland. Prices in Maryland are 2.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 10.7 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 0.7 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.665 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Maryland was priced at $2.67 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was $4.79 per gallon, a difference of $2.12 per gallon. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $2.67 per gallon while the highest was $4.79 per gallon, a difference of $2.12 per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has risen 2.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.14per gallon today. The national average is unchanged from a month ago and stands 1.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country…
