Teacher accused of assaulting elementary school student in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A Northern Virginia teacher is facing criminal charges after being accused of roughing up an elementary school student who did not want to follow instructions last month.

The Fairfax County Police Department said the assault happened Sept. 18 during a physical education class at Providence Elementary School.
