Man arrested after 9 card skimmers found on ATMs, card payment devices

WASHINGTON (7News) — A man was arrested after at least nine credit card skimmers were found on ATMs and where people swipe credit cards across Virginia.

Two car skimmers were found in early September, leading to the discovery of seven more skimming machines. Six of those skimmers had miniature cameras at ATMs and could steal card data and PIN codes, according to the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD).

Marko Puskas, 40, was arrested on Thursday at the 7100 block of Lee Highway in Falls Church, Virginia, according to FCPD. He faces charges including identity theft, possession of fictitious identification, possession of burglarious tools, conspiracy to commit a felony and unlawful use of payment card scanning devices and re-encoders…
