A GoFundMe has been organized to support the family of 11-year-old Summer Lim, who was tragically struck and killed by a school bus on October 9 while returning home from Earl B. Wood Middle School in Aspen Hill/Rockville.
According to police, the collision occurred around 3:13 p.m. when a school bus turning from Bauer Drive onto Russett Road struck Summer, who was riding her bicycle home from school. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Summer, remembered as a talented artist, avid reader, and adventurous spirit, leaves behind her parents, younger sister, and younger brother. Funds raised will help cover funeral expenses and provide support to her family during this difficult time…
