FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — Two northern Virginia schools were closed Monday following separate threats, prompting large police responses in the City of Alexandria and Fairfax.
The Alexandria Police Department (APD) said it began investigating a threat of possible explosive devices at Alexandria City High School. The school was already closed to students for the Diwali holiday, but staff were sent home as a precaution.
