UPDATED: Remains found at scene of Sterling townhouse fire

The Loudoun County Fire Marshal’s Office has recovered remains at the scene of Friday’s three-alarm blaze that damaged three townhouses in Sterling.

The victim’s manner and cause of death will be released pending an investigation by the state medical examiner’s office, Loudoun County fire officials said in a Sunday news release.
