Sad news to report this afternoon as the Roots 657 Cafe & Local Market in rural Loudoun County has announced it is closing its doors next month.
“After nearly a decade of serving Loudoun County and being a proud part of the Lucketts community, we want to share some important news — ROOTS 657 will serve its last guests on Sunday, December 14th, and we will officially close our doors on Monday, December 15th,” the post to social media read.
The announcement goes on to say that the Roots team is selling the restaurant, but it doesn’t say to whom or what type of establishment might be coming next…
