Baltimore, MD – Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police officers issued more than 330 citations and warnings during a statewide enforcement effort targeting dangerous driving last Friday.

According to the MDTA Police, officers across all detachments participated in the high-visibility initiative, focusing on aggressive and distracted driving—two of the leading causes of crashes on Maryland roadways. Over the course of the day, officers conducted more than 260 traffic stops, resulting in 331 total citations and warnings…
