Two arrested after Montgomery County police discover guns in car during traffic stop

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police in Montgomery County seized two loaded handguns after a traffic stop and “dangerous fight” on Halloween evening.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said that officers were patrolling in the area of Castle Boulevard and Briggs Chaney Road around 9:30 p.m. when they saw a car traveling without any headlights on.

Four people were in the car. Police said that during the traffic stop, one of those individuals “started making suspicious movements,” and officers saw a gun in open view.
