Germantown Resident Wins $5 Million Lottery Prize at Local Sunoco Station

A retired federal employee from Germantown, Maryland, won a $5 million top prize from the $5,000,000 Fortune scratch-off game on November 2, 2025. The man, who regularly plays the Maryland Lottery, bought the $50 ticket at Town Center Sunoco on Germantown Road.

He said he initially thought he was having a medical emergency due to his racing heart. After confirming the win with his family, he claimed the prize at the Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore on November 3.
