A multi-vehicle wreck shut down the northbound lanes of I-95 near the Service Plaza late this morning.
Initial reports were that a vehicle traveling southbound on I-95 at a high rate of speed sideswiped another vehicle, veered off the road and into the grass median, went airborne, and collided with a tanker truck and several other northbound vehicles.
The tanker was empty but a saddle tank carrying fuel ruptured leading to a hazardous materials clean up…
