FREDERICK, Md. (DC News Now) — Maryland State Police (MSP) is investigating after the “skeletal remains” of a person were found in a wooded area of Frederick County on Thursday.
Police said the deceased person has not been identified, with the gender pending autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
According to police, officers responded shortly before 4 p.m. to a wooded area on I-70 and Green Valley Road after the Department of Natural Resources found what appeared to be “skeletal remains.”
