Detectives say the victim was killed during an argument with a man known to her.
Gaithersburg, MD (JK) – Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the shooting death of 54-year-old Sarahi Concepcion Aragon-Cruz of Fairland. The incident occurred Thursday evening, November 6, 2025, in the 3000 block of Memory Lane.
Police say 3rd District officers and fire rescue personnel were called to the home around 5:41 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found Aragon-Cruz inside the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, a male suspect known to the victim shot her during an argument inside the home before leaving the scene. Aragon-Cruz’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death…
