Injured Hunter Airlifted To Hospital After Falling From Tree Stand In Maryland

An injured hunter in Maryland was airlifted to safety after falling out of a tree stand over the weekend, authorities said.

The Maryland State Police Aviation Command said a helicopter crew responded at around 12:30 p.m. Saturday to a report that a hunter had fallen from a tree stand in Greenridge State Forest.

“Due to the remote location and nature of the injuries, Trooper 5 was requested to hoist and medevac the patient,” police said…
