MIDDLETOWN, Md. — Expect major delays on US-40 ALT in Frederick County, Maryland as police investigate a crash on Monday morning.
According to Frederick County Fire Department spokesperson Sarah Campbell, the crash was first reported around 5 a.m. The crash is blocking lanes in both directions at Shank Road.
According to Campbell, around 5:10 a.m., a driver crashed into a utility pole. Authorities say that the driver refused medical attention at the scene. No other injuries were reported. Delays are expected to last up to two hours…
