Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Train Near Montgomery County Highway: Police (UPDATED)

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train in Montgomery County on Tuesday afternoon, shutting down part of the MARC Brunswick Line and freezing the evening commute, police said.

Officers from the 5th District and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews were called to Great Seneca Highway at 4:17 p.m. for the fatal collision, according to a statement posted by MCPD.
