Board bans individuals from state contracts over bribery charges, first debarments in eight years

The Board of Public Works indefinitely barred four individuals and one company Wednesday from doing business with the state after they were convicted of bribery in their previous dealings with the state.

The debarments appeared to be the first in eight years by the state,  which keeps a list of more than 80 companies and individuals who are prohibited from contracting with the state…
