Woman stabbed mother in the neck at her apartment and left her on the floor while she escaped with the family dog: Police

A woman in northern Virginia is accused of stabbing her mother in the neck, killing her, and then leaving her on the floor of her apartment while she left with their dog.

Helena Little, 31, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of her mother, 79-year-old Norma Little. The suspect is being held in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, the Fairfax County Police Department announced.
