Maryland State Police Announce Multiple Arrests in Triple Murder Investigation

Maryland State Police have made four arrests in connection with a triple murder and house fire in Clear Spring earlier this month, including one suspect who was taken into custody in Montgomery County. The investigation, which authorities say is active and expected to result in additional arrests, stems from a deadly November 18 incident that left three people dead inside a home on National Pike.

The accused are identified as Darnell (also known as Donnell) Hawkins, 47, of Baltimore; Tony Smith, 43, of Hagerstown; Maurice Mouzon, 46, of Baltimore; and Kierra White, 35, of Glen Burnie. All four are being held without bond.

Hawkins was arrested in Baltimore County on November 28 and is charged with three counts of first-degree murder, first-degree arson, and related offenses. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center…
