Photographic evidence is no longer required to report a violation of Montgomery County’s gas-powered leaf blower ban, per a bill signed by County Executive Marc Elrich (D) on Monday.
The change in the process for enforcing the ban, which took effect with Elrich’s signature, comes in time for the second round of vacuum leaf collection in most parts of the county where the service is offered.
