The Five Guys restaurant at 3333 Olney Sandy Spring Road has officially closed its doors, ending years of service as a staple stop for local families, students, and commuters. The restaurant permanently closed at the end of business on Sunday, December 7, as we reported last week.
While the closure marks the end of an era for the current space, a sign posted in the restaurant reassured customers that Five Guys has no plans to leave the Olney community for good. The message reads:
“Please know we are not leaving for good! We are in the process of locating a new site that better serves Olney and surrounding communities…
