SALISBURY — Applications are open for a state-funded program to help families of students enrolled in community schools with emergency financial support who are at risk of homelessness.
The Community Schools Rental Assistance Program provides funding to help eligible families pay for past due rent or utility bills, including late and court fees related to eviction. The funding includes moving fees, security and utility deposits and first month’s rent. Households may be eligible for up to 15 months of assistance.
