18th Street Gang Member Arrested In Sterling Stabbing

A member of the 18th Street Gang was arrested for the Sunday night stabbing that left a man in the hospital.

According to court documents, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested Jimmy Joel DeLeon, 37, of Herndon, and charged him with malicious wounding with severe injury and stabbing in commission of a felony.

The criminal complaint says that DeLeon was at a gathering at a home on Aspen Avenue in Sterling when he got into a fight with the host. Another person at the party attempting to help the man who had been assaulted and was stabbed by DeLeon with a butcher knife multiple times…
