Passenger stuck in baggage claim equipment at Dulles International Airport rescued

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — An airline passenger became an ambulance passenger Thursday after getting stuck in baggage claim equipment at Washington Dulles International Aiport (IAD).

Emily McGee, spokeswoman for Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, said the incident happened around 9 a.m. in the international arrivals baggage area.

McGee said the passenger, who was an adult, made an “unauthorized entry” into IAD’s baggage delivery stystem. The passenger, who was an adult, got caught in the equpment.
