A vehicle fire is causing traffic delays on northbound I-270 in Montgomery County on Tuesday afternoon, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.
MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer said crews were dispatched around noon to a vehicle fire on northbound I-270 in the area of Falls Road. The vehicle was described as “well-involved” when firefighters arrived on scene, with multiple lanes initially blocked as crews worked to extinguish the fire.
