WASHINGTON — A 25-year-old D.C. man was sentenced to prison Tuesday for a spree of bombings that targeted four separate businesses in Maryland and the District in 2023. Cahlyl Rollins was sentenced to five years in prison and three years probation for his role in the bombings that caused thousands of dollars in damage.
Cahlyl and his partner, 36-year-old W. Garrett Bragg, pleaded guilty in September of last year to four counts of malicious use of explosive materials. Bragg was sentenced in May to seven years in prison.
According to court documents, at each of the four locations Rollins was the trigger man. He carried the explosive to the detonation site, lit the device and planted it.
