MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A student at Wheaton High School was hurt after a boy was able to enter the school with a knife, according to a letter sent to families on Wednesday.
On Dec. 17, around 12:45 p.m., a staff member heard a verbal altercation in a hallway. The staff member found a boy with a knife, and took it away from him before trying to escort him into the main office, according to the letter. The boy then fled the building and was seen running off campus.
