The Potomac estate formerly owned by Dan and Tanya Snyder has sold at auction for $13.3 million, nearly 36 million less than originally listed for, according to a report by Biz Journals.
The 13-acre riverfront property at 11900 River Road was auctioned Thursday through Concierge Auctions, marking the latest chapter for one of Montgomery County’s most recognizable ultra-luxury homes. The estate had been donated by the Snyders to the American Cancer Society in 2024, with all proceeds from the sale benefiting the organization.
Prior to the auction, the property had undergone multiple price reductions. It was originally listed for $49 million in early 2023, later reduced to $29.9 million, and then cut again in July to $24.9 million.
