Suspect search continues for people who planted skimming devices at Fairfax County stores

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — Fairfax County Police are working to figure out who’s responsible for trying to rip off customers after officers found 20 credit card skimmers at gas stations and other convenience stores in a targeted operation.

“Be mindful, be aware of your surroundings and the terminals you are visiting, make sure that you are paying attention to any bulky terminals, any miscolored ones,” said Ingrid Palencia, a public information officer with the Fairfax County Police Department.
