The Maryland Comptroller reported that the state collected more than $26.8 million in adult-use cannabis sales tax revenue between July and September 2025, with the largest share generated in the Central Region.
The revenue reflects a tax increase from 9% to 12% that took effect July 1, 2025, with funds distributed to the General Fund, regulatory agencies, community reinvestment programs, counties, and public health and business assistance initiatives.
