Marvin Fernando Morales-Ortez, 23, has been charged in a criminal complaint with possession of a firearm by an alien illegally present in the United States, according to US Attorney Lindsey Halligan on Monday, Dec. 29.
It is alleged that Morales-Ortez illegally entered the United States in September 2016.
According to the criminal complaint, Fairfax County Police officers responded to a call for service at a residence in Reston on Wednesday, Dec. 17, where they found a victim dead from apparent gunshot wounds, authorities said…
