Maryland Health Department says masks should be worn in health care facilities

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A surge in respiratory ailments has prompted the Maryland Health Department to recommend that people wear masks in health facilities.

According to the department, respiratory virus hospitalizations have exceeded 10 per 100,000 residents throughout the state.
