(WKRC) – A Maryland man known as “The $50,000 Man” has claimed his second major lottery prize, winning $50,000 in the Oct. 18 Powerball drawing.
The federal employee, who won a $250,000 scratch-off prize eight years ago, collected his latest winnings at Maryland Lottery headquarters Jan. 2. He matched four white balls and the Powerball number for the third-tier prize.
“I found out I won by scanning the ticket on the app,” he said. “When I saw $50,000, I had to check the numbers again. I just didn’t believe it.”…
