A suspect in Monday’s attempted robbery at a Bank of America in Sterling was shot by deputies Tuesday morning in the parking lot of the Leesburg Walmart.
The shooting occurred at 11:39 a.m. when Loudoun County detectives, deputies and FBI agents located a person being sought in connection with Monday’s crime at the Bank of America in Dulles Crossing, the sheriff’s office said in a news alert.
“As deputies approached the vehicle, the suspect exited with a firearm,” the release said. “Deputies fired on the suspect and immediately rendered aid.”…
