Robbery Suspect Charged with Knife Possession in Jail

A Leesburg man suspected in multiple robberies has been charged with having a deadly weapon while in jail.

Fidel Ordonez Molina, 20, of Leesburg, was charged with prisoner in possession of a deadly weapon after a corrections deputy found an improvised knife in his cell at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center in November.

Ordonez Molina was charged with robbing the Sheetz on Edwards Ferry Road on May 17, 2024. He was also charged with assault and battery and fleeing with law enforcement after he assaulted an employee and fled on foot from responding officers. The robbery and fleeing law enforcement charges were later dropped by prosecutors and Ordonez Molina was found guilty of assault and battery and sentenced to probation…
