Trooper Hurt After Suspect Drives Wrong Way On I-95 During Domestic Abduction Pursuit: VSP

A Virginia State Police trooper suffered minor injuries after a suspect drove the wrong way on Interstate 95 during a pursuit tied to a possible domestic abduction in Prince William County, state police announced on Friday, Jan. 16.

Fairfax County police first located the suspect vehicle — a 2011 Dodge Nitro — around 3:05 p.m. on I-95 northbound while trying to respond to a possible domestic abduction call out of Prince William County, according to Virginia State Police.

Police followed the Dodge until state troopers arrived and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over, resulting in a pursuit, troopers said…
