Officers were dispatched at 7:08 p.m. to the 400 block of North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg following a report of a shooting, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Police located a male victim at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim’s condition has not been released. MCPD shared that Gaithersburg Police are handling the investigation.
