PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A 32-year-old man was arrested after assaulting a police officer during a trespassing investigation, Prince William County police said.

Around 9:10 a.m. on Jan. 21, officers responded to the 7-Eleven on Minnieville Road in Woodbridge to investigate a trespassing complaint. During the investigation, a man, identified as Omar Stanley James Jackson, became aggressive and combative toward officers and refused to follow commands.
At one point, Jackson assaulted an officer before being detained, police said. No injuries to officers were reported…
