PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A 49-year-old man was arrested after approaching a pair in their 60s and assaulting one of them in Prince William County, police said.

Around 10:10 p.m. on Jan. 24, officers responded to the Woodbridge Forest Apartment in the 1500 block of Monroe Drive to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that a 60-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were walking to an apartment and passed a stranger, later identified as Erick Lozano.
As the pair was entering the apartment, Lozano reportedly pushed past the woman and began assaulting the man, who was cut in his ear. The woman was not hurt.
Officers arrived and detained Lozano, who is facing charges of malicious wounding, burglary, simple assault and public intoxication…
