Authorities in Maryland are lauding a state police trooper and his K-9 who located a missing 15-year-old teen with autism during last weekend’s winter storm.
In a news release, the Bel Air Police Department said that it received a report on Sunday, Jan. 25, about the juvenile, who left his home between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. local time without his family’s knowledge.
The teen disappeared as the area was experiencing severe weather conditions, including snow-covered terrain and sub-freezing temperatures, that posed a life-threatening situation, police added. Authorities were particularly concerned about nearby waterways that the teen could end up in…
