Police investigating after teen shot in Manassas

MANASSAS, Va. (DC News Now) — The Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) is investigating after a teenage boy was shot in Manassas on Friday.

In a post to the X platform at 6:18 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Strasburg Street and Copeland Drive.

There, a 17-year-old boy was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
