Snowplow truck driver dies after crash in Loudoun County

BLUEMONT, Va. (7News) — A crash on Leesburg Pike in Bluemont claimed the life of a 38-year-old driver on Monday, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said.

The crash occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Route 7 and Blue Ridge Mountain Road. It involved a commercial truck that was equipped with a snowplow and salt spreader, and a pickup truck.

The driver of the snowplow truck, Juan Ferman of Centreville, died at the scene. A person from the pickup truck had minor injuries…
