Students in Prince William County returned to school Tuesday on a two-hour delay, which the school system called a success, but some community members said the day saw plenty bumps in the road.
One parent, whose daughter attends Ashland Elementary School in mid-county, told InsideNoVa his wife took their children to school early Tuesday after receiving a call from a neighbor who said school drop-off was “a mess.”
After getting their daughter to school, the father said, his wife couldn’t return to the main road because two buses were stuck after trying to pass each other on a road with snow banks on both sides.
