Ashburn house fire causes $485K in damage

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A Saturday night house fire in Ashburn resulted in $485,000 in damage, according to the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Fire Marshal’s Office (LCFR-FMO).

Crews responded to multiple reports of a house fire shortly after 9 p.m. in the 20000 block of Citation Dr., where flames were found coming from the garage and spreading to the second floor of the home.

The LCFR-FMO added that fire crews from Ashburn, Lansdowne, Arcola, Moorefield, and Fairfax County assisted in battling the flames, resulting in most of the fire being extinguished in the garage.
